For over two years, director Paweł Łoziński stands on his balcony with his camera and observes the people who pass by: in the sun, rain and snow, contemplating, absorbed in their phones, young and old. The filmmaker addresses them, asks questions, and explores how they cope with life. The balcony becomes a public space for dialogues full of profound wit and practised empathy. Über zwei Jahren lang steht Regisseur Paweł Łoziński mit der Kamera auf seinem Balkon und beobachtet die Menschen, die an ihm vorbeigehen: bei Sonne, Regen und Schnee, nachdenklich, in ihre Telefone vertieft, jung und alt. Der Filmemacher spricht sie an, stellt Fragen, und erkundet, wie sie mit dem Leben zurechtkommen. Der Balkon wird zum öffentlichen Raum für Dialoge voll tiefsinnigem Witz und gelebter Empathie.
