1M2 MARKT ist ein Projekt von Ana Mumladze, Bana Saadeh und Maria Kanzler. Die Drei kennen sich aus ihrem Social Design Studium an der Angewandten in Wien, wo sie durch ihr Interesse an Kunst, Kultur und deren Synergien mit dem öffentlichen Raum zueinander gefunden haben.

1 m2 MARKT
The project »1 m2 Market« explores markets as an urban resource for the district. In the walkshop from Meiselmarkt to Schweglermarkt, we look behind the scenes and explore the possibilities and limits of marketplaces together with vendors, visitors, researchers and artists: Are markets integrative public spaces? Are visitors active participants? How can social exchange, art and culture be integrated into the local value chain as basic needs?
